SHILOH 85 REMOTE LEARNING PLAN

Good Morning!

Our Remote Learning program is currently underway!  Students currently have opportunity to do coursework, and in many cases, interact with their teachers, and we certainly hope they do. Please know, our teachers are tracking student participation as they wish to ensure our students continue to progress. Teachers have planned for two weeks of instruction, excluding our original Spring Break days.  For a full review of our plan, visit our website at Shi85.org.

Packets and supplemental materials, primarily for kindergarten through 5th grade, are still available for pick up today at Shiloh Middle School until 5:00 PM tonight. Beginning next week, items can be picked up at your child's school from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Our teachers have been reaching out to parents and students with a survey, and in other cases, instruction.  Please help us by responding. In fact, please feel free to reach out to your teachers at any time!

Please enjoy the message below from our staff to our students!

Our Message to You

MEALS:

Meal deliveries will continue until the end of our closure at the same locations and times listed at the bottom of this message. Next week, includes some Spring Break days. In an effort to try to meet the needs of our students, we will deliver meals at the same locations and times on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. On Thursday, we will deliver 2 meals at that time, one for Thursday and one for Friday. There will be no delivery on Good Friday. We will pick back up normal delivery on Monday.

Beginning the following week, Monday, April 20th, we will deliver meals only every other day of the week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. On those days, we will be delivering two meals at a time. This is done in an effort to decrease the number of social contacts in our community and to keep all of us safer.

Locations:
11:16 AM SHILOH VILLAGE PARK PLAYGROUND (WATER TOWER)
11:32 AM VALLEY VIEW MOBILE HOME PARK PLAYGROUND ON TOBIAS DR
11:48 AM LAKE SUZANNE MOBILE HOME PARK OFFICE

Please continue to take care of yourselves and our Wildcats!

Good afternoon!

In his press conference today, Governor Pritzker has extended the “Stay At Home” order until April 30th. He will likely sign the executive order tomorrow. With that action, On-site Learning will not be allowed during that time. So, we can anticipate Shiloh Schools being closed until April 30th.

Please know Shiloh teachers and staff have been working hard with our Remote Learning Plan to provide educational opportunities to our students during the closure. This is a chance for me to remind you also that we will have planned for the next two weeks of education and packets and/or supplemental materials may be picked up at Shiloh Middle School on Thursday and Friday of this week from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Thank you again for partnering with us and please stay safe. Shiloh Strong!
