Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer

Research shows that playing an active role in your child’s education can have a positive impact on his or her success.  Generally, student’s grades, test scores, and attendance all improve when parents are involved in various aspects of school.  Student behavior also improves when parents participate in activities.  In fact, research shows that you play such a large role in your child’s success that students whose parents are active in education are more likely to attend school past High School.

The following opportunities are some of ways you can volunteer and be active in your child’s education.  Please see the additional links under this section for a more detailed list of ways you can be involved and how to become an approved volunteer!

Getting involved in school can be a confusing and intimidating time for both parents and teachers.  If there is ever something you would like to know more about or would like to be involved in please let me know and I will help in any way that I can.  The success of your child is in our court and one of the best ways to ensure this success is by working together!

Here’s to a great school year!
